Your field notebook,
finally digital.

Fields, blocks, operations and harvests — in one notebook. It never gets lost, never gets rained on, and keeps track for you. When something needs your attention, it tells you.

Sound familiar?

A paper notebook works — until the first rainy day.

  • The spray record was on a scrap of paper in the truck — and the truck's out in the far block right now.
  • The lease on that block runs out in 32 days. Or maybe 132. It's written down — somewhere.
  • Was that block down to wheat or maize last year? Hard to say for certain.
  • Last season's notebook got soaked in the glovebox. What was applied, when, and how much — gone for good.

Growers have worked this way for decades. Now the notebook doesn't have to get lost.

Familiar — without the hassle

The same notebook. Except it works for you.

You write things down as usual. The boring part happens on its own.

  • Does the maths for you — costs, inputs and harvest totals roll up into one number, no calculator needed.
  • Reminds you on its own — before a lease deadline or a planned operation is due, while there's still time to act.
  • Watches your fields by satellite — and flags where a crop is under stress, before you'd notice from the road.
  • Answers when you ask — text or voice in Telegram: "how's the north block looking?" — it answers, and logs it.
  • Turns a scouting photo into a record — snap a photo in the field with GPS, and it's filed with the date, place and note.
What's inside

Two halves of one notebook.

Operations answer "what actually happened, and where" — harvest answers "what did it yield". The data is shared.

Records, not spreadsheets

Operations & Harvest

Every spray, fertiliser pass, tillage and harvest — logged as it happens, from your phone. See inputs and yields per field without a calculator.

  • Operations log: spraying, fertilising, tillage, harvest
  • Harvest records per field, rolled up to season totals
  • Photo scouting notes with GPS, timestamped
  • Season report: what happened, when, and where
Agronomy on the map

Fields & Vineyard Blocks

Every field or vineyard block is a polygon on the map. See boundaries, area, this year's crop or variety, and previous seasons at a glance.

  • Draw fields or blocks by hand, or import boundaries
  • Crop and variety history, season by season
  • Satellite vegetation monitoring (NDVI) per block
  • Weather and soil moisture for every field
Simple to start

Three steps, and you're working.

01

Log operations with a photo.

Snap a photo in the field — spraying, fertilising, a scouting note. Farmbook timestamps it, tags the GPS location, and files it for you.

02

Set up your season once.

Crop or variety, target yield, the basics per field. Everything else — operations, harvest, advice — builds on it automatically.

03

Draw your fields or blocks.

Mark the boundary by hand or import it. Crop, this year's plan and the operations log all attach to the field.

Why Farmbook

Built for real fieldwork.

not offered elsewhere

An assistant that tells you

Satellite imagery, weather and soil moisture — Farmbook watches your fields and flags a problem or a deadline before you go looking for it. You don't search — it tells you.

text or voice

A bot you can actually talk to

"How's the north block looking?" — ask in plain language, by text or voice. The bot answers and logs it. Handy with muddy hands or on the move.

camera-first

Built for the field, not the office

Log a spray pass or a scouting note with a photo from your phone — no separate app, no desk required. Farmbook works exactly where the work happens.

Your data

Your records — yours alone.

Everything you record — operations, fields, harvests — belongs to you and no one else. Each farm's data is isolated: no other tenant can see it. Backups run nightly. If you ever decide to leave, you take everything with you — export any time.

For larger operations, data can be hosted on your own infrastructure, under your own keys. We only run the computation.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it on my phone, in the field?

Yes. Farmbook opens in the browser and adds to your phone's home screen like an app icon. There's no app-store download yet, but the web version is fully featured.

How long does setup take?

Setting up your first fields typically takes a couple of hours together with us. Add your fields or blocks, crops or varieties, and you're recording operations the same day.

Is it safe to keep my records here?

Access is limited to your farm's team — only the people you invite. Data is isolated: another tenant can't technically see it. Backups run nightly. For larger operations, data can be hosted on your side.

Can I take my data if I leave?

Your data is always yours. On request, we provide a full export of fields, operations and harvest records. No extra charge.

Can my agronomist or accountant use it too?

Yes. Each person gets their own role — an agronomist sees fields without financials, for example. Invitations go out as a short code.

Is Farmbook available in my language?

The web app and notifications are available in English. We're actively extending the Telegram bot's text and voice advice to English too.
